The Saltimbanco cultural association is born of the necessity to open the doors of Arezzo’s Accademia dell’Arte to the public. The Accademia dell'Arte organizes intensive quarterly courses on classical and modern Commedia dell’Arte for American university students. Saltimbanco would like some of these courses to be accessible to a European and local public. To that end, the association organizes workshops on theatre, music and dance and arranges various courses, concerts, and dance and theatre performances, which we hope will enrich local cultural life. Finally, Saltimbanco is one of the promoters of the ArezzoFestival, the International Festival of University Theatres that takes place in Arezzo every year at the end of June.
